The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently browsing the Fernie two Neighborhood Hall in Mpuluzi to render services into the community.

SASSA might be rendering expert services for example new social grant applications, change of payment method, consumer care enquiries, along with the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In a statement, the agency claimed it's alarmed concerning the large variety of people counting on social grants for survival.
“The intention with the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out into a substantial variety of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“This is often mainly because of the lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there's no absolutely functional office devoted to service the area regularly. The assistance position designed for intervention encounters a large inflow of probable beneficiaries, which makes it difficult for that office to attend to all people who stop by a service point.

“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise additional sources to enable the servicing of all shoppers and enhance entry to Social Assistance solutions,” the agency said.
